Questions other students are asking

We're constantly striving to provide more opportunities for students, so we may add new start dates to our
schedule throughout the year. However, the start dates currently offered on our academic calendar are not subject to change.

We understand your eagerness to start your educational journey. To begin courses as soon as possible, find
your desired start date and complete all admission steps before the next 'Register by' deadline listed on our academic calendar.

The first step in your admission process is to fill out our online application. Once you've submitted your application, we'll provide you with a personalized list of tasks to complete. For more detailed information about what you’ll need to apply, read about our admissions requirements.

The application process period can vary based on individual circumstances. However, the application deadline is a week prior to your desired start date.

At University of Phoenix, we believe in equal opportunities for all aspiring students. Therefore, we do not require the SAT, ACT GMAT, GRE, or any program-specific exams for admissions.

We understand that obtaining and submitting transcripts can sometimes be a hassle. That's why we're here to assist you. In most cases, we can request your official transcripts from prior institutions on your behalf, making the process more convenient and efficient for you. However, there are some instances in which institutions may require that you make the request directly. For questions or more information about obtaining transcripts, please reach out to an enrollment representative. [1]

[1] Transferability of credit is at the discretion of the receiving institution. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether or not credits earned at University of Phoenix will be accepted by another institution of the student’s choice. For questions, contact us at (866) 354-1800.

Our goal is to make the application process accessible and affordable for all prospective students. That's why we're pleased to inform you that your application to the University of Phoenix is 100% free.

You can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before completing your online application, but it isn’t necessary. Once your application is submitted, we will guide you through the necessary steps to apply  for financial aid via FAFSA to apply towards your tuition. We are committed to helping you explore various tuition options to make your education more affordable and attainable.

The FAFSA School Code for University of Phoenix is 014593.
